Lander has one of the most beautiful and quaint small-town Main Streets I have ever seen. And around Christmas time it’s just magical. Lander kicked off the holiday season Saturday, December 7th during the Annual Light Up Lander event. A truly magical evening of hot cocoa, games, prizes, food drives, and all things merry, Light Up Lander always gets everyone ready for the Holidays ahead. Santa even made an appearance with the help of the LVFD. We couldn’t have asked for better weather to enjoy an evening of community involvement. As always Lander showed us it’s best with a beautiful light parade down main street that ended at Centennial Park to watch as the large evergreen tree was lit in all its glory. The evening was capped off with fireworks over main street and hip-hip-hooray from all of Lander.
There is really no other way to put it….Here in Lander, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
